Who is Yes Legal?

Yes Legal is part of yes. every kid. foundation., a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming education to unlock the extraordinary potential of every kid. This transformation to a model of education which puts families first requires dedicated entrepreneurs offering an array of options as diverse as every kid’s needs. 

Yes Legal exists to serve these edupreneurs through the Edupreneur Support Program (ESP) – in any US state or territory – with free, personalized legal and regulatory support as they navigate the challenges of starting and growing unconventional learning environments.

For example, Lynn, a Yes Legal staff attorney, and Cyndi, an edupreneur in New York, discussed the potential application of child care regulations on her business, and the possible exemptions. They also discussed zoning and business formation as Cyndi was working as an individual with no liability shield at the time.
